We verify the Size from loaded contents on our DNN Portal and see that when we not logged in we load also CSS-Styles was only need in Admin- or Host-Mode.

For Example:

We view the Page without a Login but we see that we load also Styles for the File-Manager, Wizard, Dashboard or other Parts was not see or need in this Situation. Our Reporting inform us that we can here save 4,5kB of 15,2kB (default.css).

We hope that DNN in Future use a default.css and a edit_default.css to make Loading-Times of DNN-Portals shorter and cleaner!

Skinning Example:

When we define here Styles for Panes in the Skin.css for Panes and the Visitor see the Page without a specifed Pane the CSS-Styles is loaded completly for all Panes. We have here the Workaround that we put the CSS-Styles in the Skin-Parts for the Panes directly so we have the Effect that the Style is not loaded when the Pane is hidden.
