I am thrilled that I can set a default URL page for a URL field, by setting its default to the internal page number, eg 596

I now want to filter the list to just find entries with the URL field set to this page.  Entry=596 gives a data conversion error and Entry='596' does not find matching rows.

Any ideas?

Cheers, Richard

Try Entry_UDT_Original='596' .

Thanks Stefan, your solution worked like a bought one (once I remembered my field was not called Entry and the page was not actually 596 - my stupidity!)

Would be interested in knowing what the _UDT_Original suffices stand for ...

By way of background, I have a master list of activity participants.  The list contains a URL column to take users to specific activity pages.  Each activity page has a filtered view of the same list, just showing participants for that one activity.  When a new participant is added in the filtered view, the correct URL cannot be chosen by the user.  This is because they are viewing the page, hence it does not show in the drop down list of site pages.  Instead, I default the URL to an 'unlinked participants' page, which has a filtered list showing 'unlinked participants' (thanks to your suggestion). A couple of clicks allows the row to be edited, and the 'correct' page to be selected.

I am using these lists to augment the Events module, because for us a single booking may involve several people, plus a vehicle and a trailer.  There is some doubling of data entry, but the results look very good.

Cheers and thanks again

Richard
