Hi there.

I installed DNN521 a couple of months ago and everything has been working fine. However, recently I started using my mobile broadband connection to demonstrate the system to potentail customers. I use a Vodafone card on a GSM "3G" network. When on the mobile broadband connection I cannot login to any of my DNN 5.2.1 sites but I can login fine to my DNN 4.9.x sites.

As soon as i switched over to a normal wi-fi connection in the cafe or at home the log in issues above go away and eveything works as expected.

Whilst on mobile broadband i haven't had any problems accessing other sites i need to log in to such as internet banking, web mail, etc.

I've tried it on IE 7.x and FF 3.x as well as different machines. All machines have been running WinXP Pro.

I see this as quite an issue as more and more people use mobile broadband.

Anyone know what this could be about? I am currently working through the issue with Vodafone without success so far.

cheers

chris

I've just checked this on my system and I can confirm that I can sign into a 5.2.3 test portal via Opera on my Windows Moble 6.5 device over Vodafone 3G. Maybe describe in more detail what actually happens when you say you can't log in. Is there an error? Rob

Hi Robax.

Thanks for checking.

In firefox i usually just get the response ""Received a invalid response" (Note the grammatical error).

In IE I get

The XML page cannot be displayed

Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

Invalid at the top level of the document. Error processing resource 'http://partners.rev-id.com/Default.aspx'. Line 1, Pos...

Received a invalid response
^

I will upgrade to 5.2.3 now and see if that helps...
