I'm getting a bunch of javascript errors after upgrading to the latest version.

They say 'Type is not defined' and they're referencing a file named 'js/dnn.xmlhttp.js and dnn.xml.js

The install ran fine but in trying to access the pages the javascript errors keep popping up.  I've installed ajax 1.0, we're running the 3.5 framework, the system.web.extensions.dll is in place but nothing is making these errors go away.  I used the upgrade package so that I could get the benefits of the xml merging feature for the web.config.  I've tried several times now to no avail.  I am rolling back to the pre-upgrade site quite disappointed.

Please advise.  We really don't want to be stuck in 4.9 but we can't upgrade with these javascript errors.  What other steps should we take here?

Hi, I'm interested in any fix for this too. DId you get the same Website errors in Firefox and Chrome ? Are you using IE 8 or 7 or 6 ? I getting some page hangs when clicking on Links in a Custom Module / 3rd party modules too. I'm having problems using IE 8 on Win 7 install. Thanks, Paul

I'm getting the errors in IE 7 and 8 and I believe firefox as well. I no longer have the upgrade applied as I had to roll it back due to the errors. I'm not sure how to get around this ... does anyone have any clues?

That error is saying that the MSAJAX javascript library is not being registered on the client.  If someone wants to post a url for me to review, I may be able to offer more insight.
