I do have a specific question regarding configuration of the portal navigation. If I have several child portals and I want links to these child portals on my parent portal navigation, how do I configure the same?

I have not found a direct way to do the same. How have you guys implemented the same on the official DotNetNuke site?

I don't believe it's possible out of the box with the navigation controls included. It might be possible using third party navigation controls, but often times people will use custom HTML to build up navigation to a parent portal. The problem with that of course is that if the navigation on the parent portal changes through the normal DNN means (adding pages, removing, etc) the custom HTML would need to be modified on the child portals.

you might be able to use a report based on portals and portal alias table, using the portal alias as a link, but it requires some SQL and configuration.
