Hi, I am new to DNN and just managed to install it on my host's server.  I have a registered domain, call it www.xxx.com.au, which I have tried to set up a parent portal for. I  logged into DNN as the host, and added the portal using a default template.  After addition, it takes me straight to the new website, i.e. www.xxx.com.au, however there is nothing there!  And I clearly cannot log in.

The directory structure on my hosted server is :

dot net nuke installation is in this directory:

d:\hshome\Companyftp\xxx.com.au\dotnetnuke

and the domain file location of  www.xxx.com.au is:

d:\hshome\Companyftp\xxx.com.au

Please note that if I make a child portal below the dotnetnuke location, it creates properly and I can proceed.  Also note that if I add the www.xxx.com.au as an alias to this child portal, it doesn't work.  If i go to that address in my browser, it doesn't bring up the child portal.

Many thanks for your help in advance.
