Hello,

I've set up several dotnetnuke sites, and haven't ever had any problems before. I recently set one up through godaddy, however, the company whom I set it up for bought coldfusion software so we had to upgrade to a coldfusion server. This broke the dotnetnuke database, so I called godaddy and they said that this was normal and to re-install. After doing this twice, it appears to still not work. It seems that the two just aren't compatible, but I need to know for sure. Any help would be great!

Thanks in advance,
Liz.

By the way, this is the error I received:

I didn't think GoDaddy could run both ASP.NET and ColdFusion on a single hosted site. If you don't need/use ColdFusion, drop it. If you have to use both, you might find it easier to buy a second hosting package for the DNN install.

I am having the exact same problem. We are running Windows 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5 and Coldfusion 9 x64. If I install Dotnetnuke before Coldfusion, it works fine.
However, once I install Coldfusion on the same IIS site as Dotnetnuke, Dotnetnuke no longer functions and I get the exact same error. Have you resolved this issue
or can anyone give me a definitive answer whether Coldfusion and DotNetNuke can cooexist on the same IIS website?

Thanks in advance!

You can't install Cold Fusion and DNN on the same site. Two separate sites for two separate technologies.
