When I go to http://localhost it brings me to http://localhost/localstart.asp and says that my web service is running, however I do not currently have a default web page established for my users, and it also brings up a new IE window with http://localhost/iishelp/iis/misc/def... ... any ideas?

if you go to http://localhost/dotnetnuke/default.aspx what happens?

I finally got it to work! Thanks everyone for all your help! As I was digging through the database I found two entries in the Portal Settings, one to allow SSL and one to force it. So I turned both those off and the site runs perfectly now! Thanks again for all the help!
