Just a quick follow on from our recent conversation. We have an option to use MSSQL Server 2000 instead of 2005 which will save us around £200. Will DNN Community Edition v1.5.2 work with MSSQL Server 2000 or do we have to use 2005?

Many Thanks

Steve Callahan

Be advised DNN 5.2 and later require SQL Server 2005 or above so I would think going for SQL Server 2005 is wiser business decision.  In fact if there is no cost difference between SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008, go for 2008 version.

AFAIK, SQL Server 2000 is no longer supported by Microsoft - that's why I would advise to use a newer version.
