I just download all the DNN files and database from our production server and have copied it on our staging server.  I udpated the Portal Alias and web.config SQL connection settings and the site came up.  I can browse all the links and the data comes back fine.

My problem is I can't log into the Admin section with any account.  The Host account login returns "Login Failed, remember that Passwords are case sensitive" Error message."  This login works fine on our production server, but wont work on the new copy on our staging server.

Anyone know why and how to fix it?

Thanks!  Al

(I tried to search for a similar topic, but each search returned a Timeout error message)

After the third backup - import of the database, the host login started working.

This post helped me with a similar issue with the host account.
