Hi, I need some help with my document module.

I just installed the document module v4.1 to my existing site. It looks perfect for my purpose.

But when I created a new folder on my server ( hopefully will be served as the default folder ), the module didn't update to show it.

I don't know what the problem is. So I tried renaming the existing folders. Guess what, those folders disappeared from the folder list.

Does anybody have any idea on this problem? Please give me a hint.

Thanks.

The documents module is fed by the files/folders listed under the file manager.  If you make changes to this structure outside the DNN file manager system, you must re synchronize the file system so that DNN knows about the new/updated folders.

Go to the file manager, select the "Recursive" box and click the "Sync" button to do the update.

Im running DNN 3.1.1 and clicking the Synchronize Database and File System times out, however using the File Manager shows that despite the timeout, the disk contents are the same as the File Manger...however using other modules to select files from /Portals/0 shows files that were already deleted (i.e. its not properly synchronized). Is there a sproc or something I can run to manually sync the filesystem and database that could survive a webserver timeout?

Thanks

Luis
