Hello,

I am using DNN version 05.02.01 (54) and I ave created a blog in my site. Right now, only the main super user account "host" can post blog entries. I have tried to create another super user account so that a coworker can add blog entries too and he can edit the page but not add entries. Does anyone know how to set it up so that other user besides the super user can also add blog entries?

Thanks

MK

The core DNN blog module is setup so that only the "owner" of a particular blog can post. There is a new release of the module in the works, but I don't know for sure that it has multi user blog support.

You can allow each user to have their own blog, in that case you will need to create a new blog as each user, but you'll first have to define permissions on the module so that they can.

If you put a blog module instance on a page, anyone with permission on the blog administration module gets displayed "create blog" link and may create his own blog on the roll.

In the testing that I have so far done with DNN Blog 4.0 RC3, it appears that users other than the blog owner can post, as long as they have edit permissions on the blog module.  I have done this once, and will do more testing to confirm.

Hello and thank you! How do you add edit permissions on the blog module?
