Hi,

My company wants to buy DNN Professional only wondered if we install DNN Professional for every client because we want to make a separated SQL data base for every client, is that possible when we buy it?!

DNN Professional Edition is licensed per installation (i.e. per database), web head and year.

You may server multiple clients, if they share the same DotNetNuke installation (multi portal cofiguration)

Thank you Mr. Sebastian, Do you mean by database an SQL Server or the databases inside it?! As you know sometimes I need to make DNN Installation for every client not using DNN Portals or child portals for known reasons such as upgrading issues or corrupting. Can I do that with one purchased license?

A database is a database inside a SQL server. However, DotNetNuke Pro Edition is licensed per IIS web site, i.e. even multiple web sites sharing a database using ObjectQualifiers (not a preferred solution nowadays) would require multiple licenses. IMHO DotNetNuke Pro Edition is not suited to provide hosting for smaller clients. Which is the benefit, you expect over using Community Edition?
