I installed the latest version last week, chose the typical setup and now need to install some additional modules. However, when logged in as host, when I go to the Extensions page under the Host menu - I have an error above the 'Extensions header, the header and nothing else.  Don't see any extensions and don' t see anything to allow me to install additional extensions.

I've attached a screen shot to show the error - can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this?  I really need to do something because we're going to be developing on this box next week and will need to be able to install additional modules.

Thanks in advance.

please check out the Event viewer in admin menu for details of the error. Often it helps to restart the application (using the link at the bottom of Host Settings).

It has something to do with the skin the vendor created for us. I created a package from the original site and imported it into this one. I know this because I just did a completely fresh install and the host>extensions page was just fine. Then I installed the skin and the host>extensions page blew up again. I'm going to see if I can go back to plan A and just copy the skin files over and see if that works. This is odd because once, on the original site, I clicked on the 'Parse Skin' button and it errored when it parsed - and then scrambled the site up to where it wasn't using the containers just the .ascx files.

Most definitely a problem with the skin package. This time, I just copied the files rather than install the skin package and all is well. Since this sort of thing drives me absolutely nuts, is there anything in the skin file that I should look for to figure out which file is causing the problem?

check the skin .aspx for HTML being complete and for any asp.net embedded. Besides, there might be client script code included, which may interfere.
