I recently got DotLessCSS working in/with a DNN website we just rolled out (DNN 5.3.1 as of Fri).  It was pretty easy to configure and get working. Though we are not using it much yet, I am very excited about the .LESS project.  I did a few searches on LESS and DNN and found almost nothing.  I am curious if anyone else is using it and what they think so far? It sounds like it may be coming out of beta soon and they have a new website about to go live. Anyone else with .LESS experience and/or opinions to share?  Thanks - Jeremy

There was a presentation from Nik Kalyani DNN co-founder on advanced skinning including CSS automation - see it here http://www.kalyani.com/2009/10/advanced-skinning-with-dotnetnuke/ I think this would be a good starting point.

That presentation described writing your .LESS, running it through a compiler and deploying it.  With DotLessCSS I have IIS (IIS6 no less) compiling, caching and delivering my custom.less files live.  I don't compile at all anymore. I just dropped a DLL in to the DNN instance's /bin folder, added 3 lines to web.config, and told IIS6 to pass *.less files through the asp.net DLL (not necessary in IIS7) and voila! This is amazingly productive. Anyone else doing this yet?
