My Site is down. I tried upgrading DNN and received the existing error. I have no clue what to do next.

No, I tried the "auto" setting. I tried upgrading my DNN install from an APS install I did in Plesk. I seem to be having issues getting the SQL server and DNN to talk with each other.

From what version did you upgrade?

Did you upgrade using the 5.02.03 Upgrade package (without a web.config file) rather than the Install package which contains a web.config file? My guess is that you upgraded from the Install package and in so doing overwrote the existing web.config which specified a different {objectQualifier}. There may also have been a problem connecting to the database due to connection string issues. Looking at the various xx.xx.xx.log files located in the site's providers/dataproviders/SqlDataProvider folder will give more information as to what went wrong.

At any rate, since the upgrade went so seriously wrong, you will need to restore the site using both the backup of the site's folders/files AND the backup of the database that you made prior to starting the upgrade.
