hi guys,

I'm developing a new module, and would like to add an option in the texteditor (could be specific within the module). But I could not find any solution for this.

What do I want:

- modalpopup with 1 fields
  - dropdownlist with classnames (using syntax highlighting)

When pressing OK than the selected text has to get a tag around it with the classname defined in the modalpopup.

Could anyone help me? Thanks in advance

please be aware, that the richtext editor is a 3rd party component called FCKEditor (see wwwckeditor.net), which is integrated using a provider, i.e. your first idea will be adopting either the editor or the provider.
