Hi,

DNN 5.2.3. Schedule settings.
Here are scheduled task with time settings.
When I looked these over some are every day and other are quicker.
I noticed the setting "Purge module cache" is every minute.!!

The site log is filled with all these scheduled events.

Question:
What are the common time frames for these task?
Is it safe to remove or change them to longer time intervals?
Does these scheduled task slowing the performance of DNN?

With regards, Ton Hermes

Ton, of course do background tasks influence the performance of your site: running too frequently, they may eat up server resources, if running seldom, missing cleanup tasks may slow down SQL performance. The jobs are initialized with some average best practice values, but you may adjust it to your needs. purging sitelog should run maybe once a day, while purge buffer needs to run once a minute, but only, if you turned on log buffer in Host Settings.
