Just a quick question  , after moving a page is possible for URL to reflect where page has been move to. I move the page up 4 levels and it keep the same URL ???

eg  from ... /Education/PostgradCourses/PostgradPaperDescriptions/403102/Animal/tabid/146/Default.aspx

I like to change to or similar URL as    .../Education/146/Default.aspx

Thanks in advance

DotNetNuke out of the box does not support that type of URL management.  At least not easily, you COULD do it using the FriendlyUrlProvider, but managing it is not an easy task.

However, if you get the site upgraded, UrlMaster from IFinity.com allows to do that.

If you're only needing to impact one page (or a few pages), there are a variety of solutions you could use. The easiest would be to use the FriendlyURL section under Host Settings. It's pretty easy to figure out. Otherwise, you could move the modules from the original page to a new page and then set the original page to redirect to the new page.
