How can I replicate one instance of DNN with its associated database to  other isolated servers?  Not as webfarm, as each replicated independent instance.  The 'master' corporate intranet website being developed will be copied to servers that only have limited access to the internet (for replication purposes only).  The replicated copy will only be used to publish information.  Any ideas of how this can be effectively achieved?

This really varies based on what resources you have available. I also don't think there is anything specific about DNN here. I am not exactly sure what the application does but there are going to be some synchronization issues (and many other hiccups). This would also require SQL servers and web servers available at all locations. Before I discuss any options I can think of, I need to know more about the situation.

Basically the environment is the following - cruise line industry - ships have their own data center and cannot depend on satellite connection being up 100% - so all ship applications work on the standalone basis. Now, if we create a dnn site specifically for a publishing website - public, static information. If we have a central copy (land at headquarters), how can I effectively copy changes to menu, text, etc to each ship? What do we need to copy - database and portal? Is there a way to minimize what needs to be copied?
