I upgraded straight from 5.3.1 to 5.4.1 and had this same thing happen. My logs show the error for the 5.4.0 and succes for 5.4.1. Does that mean I'm ok, or do I have to do something to fix the error.

I too experienced this error and have had to rollback to 05.03.01 (7) . I have looked in both the /Language and /Module Directories and I do not see any ZIP files. There are several 'Resource Files,' in the /Module, and a Text File in both /Module and /Language. Should I purge all of these and try again? Any direction would be helpful prior to attempting to upgrade again.

I just like to say "ditto" to Luiz's helpful advice. Restore database and files, and do the upgrade (5.4.1) again with the correct files. Thanks.

Reverting the files and DB, emptying those Install sub-folders and then trying again did not work for me. Looking through the SQL that is throwing the error, I noticed I have a record in the PortalLocalization table that does not have a corresponding record in the Portals table. Both PortalLocalization records had the same "PortalName" value and contiguous PortalIDs (PortalID 2 and 3) so maybe the first PortalLocalization record was created during a botched Portal creation attempt before these tables were linked with a FK. I deleted the orphaned record in PortalLocalization and the upgrade worked. Hope that helps someone.. Dave
