I"m using some jquery in a custom ascx include file.

It works fine on all pages, but whenever the page loads under https it produces the following error:

Index or size is negative or greater than the allowed amount" code: "1

{if(ctl.parentNode.childNodes[i+offset]!=null)  dnn.js (line 176)

Is your javascript even loaded in https? Some browsers (with certain settings) will not load files for the page unless all refernces for the page are also https. You may have to see if you can request the jquery library in https mode as well. Check to see using a http traffic monitoring tool (Fiddler, Firebug with NET panel) to see if the javascript files for the page are all being downloaded.
