 Hello,

We have recently upgraded our version of DotNetNuke to 4.9.5 and now we are experiencing errors with the inline content editor on the Text/HTML modules. When saving edited content we receive the following error message: "400 - Exception of type 'DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.SecurityException' was thrown." We do not receive any errors when editing the module titles and the saved updates are made as expected.

I have researched the web and the forums looking for a similar error but have come up empty handed. Based on a single forum post in German I have reason to believe that this may be a "trust" issue and that setting my application to run in "Full" trust mode should resolve the issue. I have un-commented my application web.config and set to the following token: <trust level="Full" originUrl=".*" />

This however has not resolved my issue and I am still getting the error. Unfortunately upgrading to DNN v5 is not an option at the moment. Are there any suggestions on resolving this issue? I would rather not turn off inline editing as many users find this a quite useful feature, however we are holding that as a last resort.

Thanks for your help!

I am having the same problem, have tried CKEditor but the problem is still there.  Has anyone found a solution without having to upgrade to 5.xx

I am having the same problem in 04.09.05 has anyone found a solution for this?

I read it might be a rights issue but giving modify rights to the asp.net user does not seem to fix it.  Although I am still waiting from the web server provider to see if that is in fact exactly what they have tried.
