hi i am using dnn 5.3.1 in which i saw new feature messaging but i am already using another module so messaging and i dont want to user dnn builtin messaging module so how can i remove it because there is no option to remove in module definition page

I think you just need to delete the module instance and then stop the Messaging Dispatch scheduled task. If you get any issues try upgrading to 5.4.1 (coming soon) and I suggest you test messenging in all use cases (for your configuration) to see if it works for you. Thanks.

Hi, one question for narayanyadav and one for Alex:

@narayanyadav : Which module are you using ?

@Alex: I have try to add messaging module to a page, but it's not visible. My idea is to use this module to send an email to another user, but not from profile page but from inside a Custom Page". Any idea ?

Sandro in 5.4.1 at least the module is not available to add to a page in control panel. Currently I think it is this way "by design". If you need this to behave differently please throw this suggestion into http://support.dotnetnuke.com
