Hi,

I did a wizard wizzard.aspx page with Visual studio 2005 when the page got completed I renamed it wizzard.ascx

I copied it in a new folder under descktopmodule in my DNN folder. (With the code being file)

After I had a new definition to my DNN and I register this file wizzard.ascx.

When I tried to add this module to my DNN web site I got those errors…

My question is do I need to put something special in the web page to work with DNN?

I’m using DNN 3.2.2 with asp.net 2.0

Thanks in advance

Soft

To be properly loaded, DNN modules must inherit from DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.PortalModuleBase rather than from UserControl. Depending on the function of your module, you may also need to implement the IActionable interface. While I believe the second and third error will also be resolved after inheriting from PortalModuleBase, check that your namespacing is correct as this is often the root of the third error message.

Unless you go through the steps to compile a VS2005 project as .NET1.1, this won't work.  You should not install an ASP.NET 2.0 dll in a DNN3.2.2 portal (which is .NET 1).
