In the Announcements module you have to create a new page for every announcement's "read more"; which is something tedious. Is there any way that the content of the "read more" appears on a generic page? i mean I create only one page and if I click on any "read more" the right content of that announcement would be inserted in that single generic page.

I don't think the announcement module allows such a functionality; but are there any other modules (free or commercial) by which I can simulate this functionality (thought about Repoitory, but didn't work)?

Thanks.

you may either use NewsArticles from www.ventrian.com, Nuntio Articles from beta.dnnwerk.de or generate your own custom version using core Form and List module.

Sebastian, regarding the forms and list module, do you mean by "generate your own custom version" that I have to alter the source code of the module? Cause I couldn't figure it out how "read more" links (link field) can be directed to a page that will show an other field (e.g announcement details) of the same row. Is this possible without altering the core module's source code?

Thanks

 Hi,

You can do this with digArticle.

Thanks,

Mike
