Hey guys,

Currently I am developing a 'downloads' section in DNN using the repository for a software company that obviously has different versions of the same software.

And so the files all have the same file name...say for example 'Software.exe' (although different versions obviously).

It will become very cluttered with it's default structure (all files go into the same folder) and there is no way we'll be able to keep track of which file is which.

Is there anyway of settiing the folder structure when uploading files?

Say for example instead of '/Repository/Software.exe' I would rather 'Repository/v3.8.2/Software.exe'.

edit the form.html file for the template you are using.  Change any [FILE] token to [URLCONTROLFILE] and any [IMAGE] token to [URLCONTROLIMAGE].

that will cause the form to render the core file upload control instead of the built-in repository upload control.  Using the core URL control allows you to select a folder to upload the file to. It also allows you to select an existing file on your server instead of having to upload a new file.
