I was trying to modify a new login page, but something screwed up...

Now I can't login at all and the stupid dnn error handling thing is blocking me from seeing the real error... and since I can't login, I can't look at the Event Viewer...

Anyone know where I can find error details in the database?  I see the dnn_Events table, but that doesn't do any good b/c it doesn't have the details...

Thank you!

You can find the data in the EventLog table.  The relevant data is in the LogProperties field.  Below is a sample query that I often use when looking at this table as it casts the LogProperties field as an XML datatype.

Select Top 50
    LogTypeKey,
    LogConfigID,
    LogPortalID,
    LogCreateDate,
    CAST(LogProperties as XML) as Properties
from
    EventLog
Order By
    LogCreateDate DESC

If you are proficient with XML Queries you can breakout the individual XML elements.

for performance reasons (due to missing index), especially with a large number of entries I suggest the following version:
SELECT TOP 50
LogTypeKey,
UserName,
LogPortalName,
LogCreateDate,
CAST(LogProperties as XML) as Properties
FROM
EventLog
Order By LogEventID DESC
