Hey guys,

I had a fully functional site hosted on my IIS as of yesterday (I'm running DNN 5.4) and I was playing with a module that accessed, but did not change, the UserProfile table. When I attempted to log on today, my login control was missing, although the Login title was still there... that is, on my home page I was looking at something like this:

Login:

All of my other controls are still on the page including some that access the db and functioned properly; however, the default login and registration buttons do not work properly. Register redirects me to the proper page, but gives me no form to fill out; rather it displays a single icon (the user account icon I believe). Login directs me to my homepage (which I set as my login page in site settings a long time ago). Any ideas on how to bring my login control back? I have tried several online solutions including the "OpenSesame" module as well as setting my url to the login address to no avail. Pretty frustrating.

Thanks in advance,

Brandon

does the module add some JS code to modify control visibility in the dom? what happens, if you rename the folder of the module installed?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for the long response on my part, but no, there was no visibility modifying code added. I ended up doing a complete reinstall of DNN (I was not that far into the project) and it has worked since then. Strange.
