Beware of a bug I found when installing 4.09.05. with SQL Server 2008 Express.
On the database connection page I clicked on Test Database Connection, and all was OK.
Then enter an object qualifier of dnn4 and test the database connection again. 3 connection errors are generated, but it doesn't tell you that the reason is that your prefix is in some way invalid. If you click Next now, you get a 400 path related error and the installer hangs when upgrading to database 4.4.1.
Change the prefix to oldver and everything runs OK.

My guess is that this is not fixed in the current version - couldn't find anything in the bug tracker. Haven't tested it as I'm waiting for a bug to be fixed in the current release that gave all our anonymopus visitors full read/edit access to the site. When I try the next release I'll test thewn and report as a bug.

Not seeing this with the 5.4.2 beta I'm testing right now (we are only looking at fixing DNN 5 issues nowadays). Pretty convinced 5.4.1 doesn't have this issue either. Hope this helps.
