I'm new to DNN. I've installed the latest version to my IIS server on Windows Server 2003. I am able to access my site using the following URL (I'm using a port for the site): http://infoex:8087/. The DNN home page displays fine, but when I attempt to go to any other link such as the Home link, I receive the following error which appears to indicate DNN is unable to find something it needs. i'd appreciate any advice on hos to resolve this issue.

Thank you,

Have you set the "Use Port Number" setting in the web.config?

What is the URL that is displaying?

Mitchel,

Thank you for the reply. I did not have the web.config port option enabled. I did make the change and restarted IIS just in case. I'm still experiencing the same issue where neither the Register, Login, or Home links work. I receive the same error message. One of the URLs that is attempting to load is: http://infoex:8087/dotnetnuke/Home.aspx.

Additional changea you need to make in your web.config
search for "humanfriendly"
change to "searchfriendly"
Save your web.config

You also need to verify that "static content" is enabled in IIS
