Is it possible to have a post appear across all forums? The specific example I am looking for, the Adminstrator posts "Forum Rules" that appears as the first post in every forum. The post is locked so that only the admin can edit it, and if/when edited, the edit is displayed everywhere. And when a new forum is created, the post would automatically appear. Is this possible?

There is nothing in the module that permits posting to multiple forums.

Is this something that could be incorporated? Say a feature like "Global Admin Post" ?

It's something I can consider for a future version. Just to clarify, are you talking about an option to always create a post across multiple forums (if so, do you pick which ones to post to?). Are you talking about a default post for all forums as they are created? Both?

Can you answer those questions, and perhaps, provide a user story in detail so I could see the full requirements?

Thanks!

Chris, The feature I am describing would enable ONLY AN ADMINISTRATOR to create a post that would be pinned in every forum in every group across that instance of the forums module. And if any new forums were to be created, that same post would appear pinned at the top in those new forums. Use case: I am creating a new site, with one instance of the forums module on a page. I am setting up groups and forums within those groups. Once I am done setting up the groups and forums, I would like to create ONE post, entitled "Forum Rules" that will appear pinned at the top of every forum. If I make any changes to the "Forum Rules" post, those changes would be reflected everywhere it appears. And later on, if I create a new forum (whether that forum is in an existing group or a new one), that same "Forum Rules" post would appear pinned at the top. HTH, Thanks! Vin
