Hello, I am currently working on converting a website from dreamweaver to DNN via remaking it.
I was curious as to how I go about making panes in the right location
here is the site I have already made
www.lcdata.com
almost the entire website is images including the background behind the text.
and I need to remake it, but I haven't a clue as to how to make a pane that would match up with those boxes.

basically I was wondering if there is any way to make them line up with how my images are already.

Looking at the code you have for the HTML layout, the <td> elements that containe the text would become the panes.

When you're creating DNN skins you can pretty much take the layout you've got, remove all the text and replace with panes, swap the navigation for the [NAV] token and any other dynamic items with their corresponding DNN skin object, remove the body and head elements and package this up as a skin.

Regards,

Rick.

You can use a <td> <div> <span>... but you must give it an ID and it must runat="server" eg.

<div id="MyPane" runat="server"></div>
