Hi guys,

I've been using a couple of third party modules which are not affected by language packs so I always have to modify the language manually through Admin>Language>Edit.

I know that if I go through the files and find the "App_LocalResources" folder, I can do it through there, but I need to do it through the language module to garantee it will work correctly when using multiple languages.

Basically what I need is to export/import from one site to another the modifications I make in language editor. How do I do that?

I guess what you want to know is how to create Language packs, so you can install them on another site!

Its very easy in fact...

Go to "Admin -> Language" just has if you were going to translate something... depending on your skin you should have some link at the top or at the bottom of your page one of those is "Create Language Pack"

You can also do it in the action menu of the Language module!

Then you just need to select the "Ressource Locale" you need and if it is a module/core/provider etc... to filter the results! now you just need to select the module you want

The Language pack is placed for you in site/Install/Language folder I assume you can access the files by FTP!

In the new site you just need to install the language pack!
