Good morning to all,
I'm coming from  a Joomla experience, I'm a professional developer in C# from Italy, and a customer have asked to have
a DNN website.

I'm studying DNN and wasn't able to find a simple article manager to put different articles in the same page automatically with categorization and so on, the function is defualt in joomla.
How I can put in a form manager? to permit to design easy forms? like chronoforms on joomla.

I know that are many not free modules but I was expecting that at least the basic functions of a CMS would have been available with the community edition.

If DNN is so crippled to not supporting at least basic functions is a shame!

DNN contains announcements module, but many users prefer advanced solutions like NewsArticle from www.ventrian.com or NuntioArticles from beta.dnnwerk.com If you want to create a custom form, either use bundled Forms and Lists module (you might need to install from Host :: extensions using "install available extensions" command from the module action menu when in Edit mode). Alternatives are free Helferlein Forms from www.helferlein.com or commercial forms module from www.datasprings.com.
