Hi Dave,

Could you post more information here? So that more people have some idea of what trouble you are in.
Please read this post from Shaun Walker about the DotNetNuke Professional support.

Regards,

Have a nice day,

website – www.Ambu999.co.uk.

When clicking on the login or register button it just takes you to the home page.

Note: The Register/login button on the navigation bar I’ve added to circumvent the problem. If you click on the Login on the Right Hand Side you will see the problem. The Register button is hidden below the Home button. Move your cursor over the white space to reveal.

I have not found out why sometimes it works and other time it fails. The only slight evidence is that on my machine where I have previously logged in as host, logged out then tried the Logon and Register buttons which then seems to work.

I am using version 05.04.02.

Did you set the Login Page on Admin -> Site Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Login Page to something else? if yes, set it back to none selected or select a custom page you made that has login module on it.

The logon and register is set to none. But I have tried setting up a dedicated logon page and that shows the same problem. Further, I have also tried putting the logon on the home page. This works but if you click 'Register' then if just flashes up the home page again without the registration form.

I’ve been having another look.

The main language is UK English

If I also have US English as an option then Login seems to fail and register works.

If I disable US English then login works and Register fails.

If you login as host then logout, both login and register works.

If login works, try clicking Register on the same login page as this tends to fail.

We have three computers here, they all exhibit the problem except the computer I use to login as host.
