Hi all,

I'm new to DNN and was wondering what the language packs are used for. Is it that DNN and the modules are translated into what ever language, or does it translate the content added to HTML modules as well? Sorry for it being a noddy kind of question but I have been unable to find what these language packs actually do?!

Thanks

Ross

Ross,
the language packs are the way you can install pre translated versions of DNN to another language suppored by the .NET Framework (Klingon not yet available...). It will translate ONLY the user interface of DNN, not the content. So for example all buttons, labels, help, admin and host menus, etc, will be into the language you installed.
Hope this solves your question.
