Is it possible to have the repository contain several categories and within those categories have attributes.  It seems like I can have many Categories but no attributes for those caegories.  I can have many Attributes and many values for each of those attributes but then theres no easy way of searching the repository as you can only have one category, ALL.  Does that make sense?  I just want to have 4 categories and 15 attributes for those 4 categories.  Is this possible?

Thanks

You can have as many categories as you want and as many attributes you want but you can't tie a specific attribute to a specific category. Let's say you had a Repository containing vehicles. You might have Cars, Trucks, and Vans as your categories and then Color and Options and something specific to trucks as attributes (I can't think of one at the moment). You can't tie that attribute to trucks only. It'll be available for all categories.

OK, I can have Honda, Ford, Mazda but when I add the dashboard my users can't search for any attributes within those categories.....can they?  Say can a user searches for ford : 4 door.  They would have to click on the dashboard and search all fords, correct?  Within the repository it doesn't say what attributes are specific for that ford.

You're correct. They can't go Ford: 4 door from the dashboard. They'd have to select ford and then fine tune by selecting 4 door from the attributes. You can't currently assgn attributes to a specific category.
