Nuntio Content is the sucessor of Magic Content and has just been released on the Codeplex website. This very powerful Text/HTML module unlocks multi-lingual content management features in the DNN platform.

While I always got a lot of positive feedback for the old MagicContent module, I never really liked the name and the technical way it handled setting up the UI for ML content, so in this release I went for the obvious solution to build the UI through jQuery UI components. It loads much faster now and will dramatically improve user experience when editing content for multiple locales.

New features in 4.2.1

  • Fallback Locale per module instance. This now allows editors to control the behaviour of the module if there is no content for a given language / role (the module can even hide itself completely now)
  • Content History. Pretty much like with the default Text/HTML module Nuntio Content now introduces a history of content per locale / role.
  • Working With Disabled Locales. Editors can now opt to work with languages that are not activated in the portal. This will help with staging new languages before they are actually activated.

Read more, enjoy some screenshots and download the module on the Codeplex website

Cheers,

Is there a way to load this instead of DNNs default text editor? I was thinking maybe I could use it with another module (netism) which is calling the default text editor. I'm trying to find a way to have multilanguage with it.

Nuntio Content is using Telerik Rad Editor, which became default editor in DNN 6. You may replace default HTML module by Nuntio Content, but other modules will need modifications to support content in multiple languages.
