Whenever fetching the property Text from the control it gives the error:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I'm using the exact example for TextEditor in DNN documentation:

DotNetNuke Module Developers Guide, page 55.

If using the FreeTextEditor Provider everything works just fine but FCKEditor is just a great control. So perhaps it is a solution for this?

please post the following:

1) Sample code of how you are creating the editor object and how your are trying to set/get the text property

2) Information about your DNN installation (Version, environment, Fckeditor provider version, etc)

The problem is solved.
If we put the TextEditor inside an ascx-control and then LoadControl from within the code everything works fine. the FCK-wrapper can't manage to be called directly through code via DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.TextEditor as an object.

Sample code is exactly the same as in the manual refered earlier. We are using DNN3.2.2 with the latest DSFck2HtmlEditorProvider version.
