I received an email from dropbox asking me to invite friends to join, and in return I would receive extra free storage. I have been wanting a module like this for some time now. One that would let me run user registration contests.

My scenario is to run a contest whereby users who get 5 new members to join the web site will receive something. I would like the ability to customize the template, email template, set levels of contest winners (i.e 5-10-15 new users), set prizes, and most of all have the module keep track of who has registered whom. Which probably means a registration URL customized for each participant, that auto fills in a manual form field on the registration form that displays who (if anyone) should get credit for thier registration.


Anyone interested in creating such a module. I'm not willing to pay to have a customized module made, but I would purchase it form snow covered at a reasonable price.

I've previously looked at the DigNuke module, but it's not going to work for my purposes. The module that I'm describing is really a marketing tool to get your existing users to register more users. That could be a really popular module, and might be fairly simple to create -but still too much for me tackle.
