Thanks for the assistance. This has now been resolved. I did eventually discover that my host login credentials would let me in and then display the portal. The issue had to do with folder permissions on the dnn dir and I found the answer on another thread here somewhere. (For the benefit of those who come after: search this forum for: "replace permission entries on all child objects") The difference in my situation is/was; I _had_ originally, already set the correct permissions on the dnn folder having given the "Network Service" account full control. For whatever reason however, it wouldn't work. So on the recommendation of the other thread I found, I proceeded to "replace permission entries on all child objects" on this directory, with no success. In the end, I had to move back up the tree; "replace permission entries on all child objects" on the dnn parent dir to force it all to filter down. I then went back in to the dnn dir and re-added the "Network Service" account. Re-start the website and voila!
