I am having trouble with a child portal navigating to the parent from the menu. I know there have been some posts but on this topic but using them I still can't resolve this.

I have a parent portal (like www.jlgf.com) and a child portal (www.jlgf.com/web). The /web directory exists and has default.aspx and navigation used to work correctly. There was an issue and I edited the alias from .../web to .../web/ then back to .../web. I assume this somehow dropped a setting since now all navigation goes to the parent portal. I also added the alias ../portals/6 to map to the correct portal and can no longer delete that entry.

Any help appreciated since I am now in a bind where I don't want to have to move all content.

THanks
Leif

make sure, there is a physical folder /web with default.aspx inside. Check the content. Besides you cannot delete the portal alias you are currently using nor the last one.
