Ok.  I am new to DNN, and it looks promissing; can't wait to get my feet wet.  To much trouble I was able to get DNN c# up and running on my host account.  For practice and skinning, etc. I installed DNN on my local machine (not without hours upon hours of reading and trying).  Here is my problem now.  When I compile via Visual Studio, I am given an address like this: http://localhost:13195/Website/Default.aspx.  When I go to do anything on the site the links appear as this: http://localhost/website/Login, or Default, Admin, or whatever.  So I need to change the root from localhost/website to on that contains the numbers I need.  I tried looking in IIS. I tried looking thru the forums, I tried looking thru web.congif, I tried to google the question, but I am stuck.  Sorry for such a seemingly simple question.

Is there a reason you're running the site through visual studio and not through IIS? You can build the site and then launch it via a webpage rather than visual studio. At any rate you need to make an alias for the url you're using. There's a portalaliases table and I believe you can get to the screen via the host->portals menu as well.
