Hi

I need to quickly turn off my member sign up box across my site.  I have a site I am migrating ... so I need to stop anybody new signing up because I'm taking a backup of the database to port over to the new host..... so I just need to turn off the box where people register.

It's on every page, it must be in admin somewhere.... I'll go and look for myself now, but maybe you guys can put me straight on where to find it quicker than I can track it down.

Cheers!

10 minutes in ... still not found it yet :)

They never made DNN 'usable' did they :)

I installed it 4 years ago and since setting it up haven't dared touch it ... really out of my depth and never dared touch a thing as I didn't know what it did/meant.  I'll have another google and another look..... and try not to press anything I shouldn't.

20 minutes in, no closer to a clue .... I know it's out there (guessing), I must have turned it on at some point (guessing again) ... so theoretically if I did turn it on, I can turn it off ... somewhere.

... if I can only find it.

Half an hour .... still not even a hint I was onto it.  Nothing.....

3am .... no clue .... have to turn it off though, can't have new members registering into a database that won't be migrated.  Bit rude to do that to them.

Anybody got a clue??

40 minutes now ... found some places I've never seen before. Not a hint of anything to do with turning off that module though. D4mned thing. I wish I'd never set eyes on DNN, it's really for developers, not people who just wanted a simple CMS :(
