OK then guys, I have 'tried' to upgrade with 5.4.3 and now I get error messages in many modules.

How do I fix things?? Do I Upgrade with the current 5.4.2 over the 'broken' site?
Has anyone got the answere?

@ShaneN - The 5.4.4 release will support upgrading from any previous release, including 5.4.3

@Michael.

AFAIK a "downgraded" Update is not possible. So you won't fix anything when pushing 5.4.2 over your broken 5.4.3. I also can imagine that you will make it even worse.
The only solution i know which runs everytime after a failed update is taking the fullbackup you made before. Not only the files, but also the DB.

 it looks like you have something that's holding onto the old DNN DLL Maybe a third party module or something?

one thing you might try is deleting everything out of your
c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\
directory 

you'll probably have to stop IIS first
delete everything out
start IIS backup

and possibly reboot just for good measure :-p
