My local physical machine named IIS has server 2008 with DNN C:\inetpub\wwwroot\folder1\dotnetnuke\install\install.aspx
My network remote physical machine named SQL has SQL 2008 with dotnetnuke database [empty]

web.config:
<!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005/2008-->
        <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Server=???;Database=dotnetnuke;uid=;pwd=;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
        <add connectionString="Server=???;Database=dotnetnuke;Integrated Security=true" name="dotnetnuke" />

What do I replace  ??? with?

Thanks in advance Chris

That Information is related to YOUR environment, only you can know for sure what to put there...

In case your using the same machine has SQL server and IIS, than just put "localhost" there... or .\SQLExpress, but this all depends on your environment, has even SQL instance names can be different!

If its a remote server then put the name or ip address of the machine !

Check http://www.connectionstrings.com for more details... this is where you should lookup for Connection String info.. or try google!
