Hi all,

Does anyone know of any specific reasons for setting the DNN Action Menu 'PopulateNodesFromClient' attribute to true or false in a container ascx?

I believe I understand what the setting is for; if true then the action menu is populated on demand via AJAX calls, if false, the action menu is rendered into the page in the normal Response. Is there more to it than this? Does the dynamic population of the action menu give us anything the static one doesn't?

Cheers,
Rhys

The end result is the same, I set it to off normally.
I don't want to "wait" if  I hover the drop down (only an issue on slow site / connections)
