Hello everyone,
Please give me a hand.
After I edit and save a file, I usually see a long message about files are locked, in which I located the name of 2 files such as:

366_ACABA51644A302FBB325E30E7931BAF8.attrib.resources
366_ACABA51644A302FBB325E30E7931BAF8.data.resources

I followed the paths and open these 2 files.  I see .attrib.resources file contains only the date and time, whereas the .data.resources file contains the text content.  I read the text content and learn whatever I have edited wasn't here (because it was locked), then I made changes here and saved --> it works!

Now I edit and save another file, I get an errow message again.

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Deleted 0 files, however, some files are locked. Could not delete the following files: E:\Portals\0\\Cache\Modules\84_ACABA51644A302FBB325E30E7931BAF8.attrib.resources; ---> System.IO.IOException: Deleted 0 files, however, some files are locked. Could not delete the following files: E:\Portals\0\\Cache\Modules\84_ACABA51644A302FBB325E30E7931BAF8.attrib.resources; at DotNetNuke.Services.ModuleCache.FileProvider.Remove(Int32 tabModuleId) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.ModuleController.SynchronizeModule(Int32 moduleID) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.HtmlTextController.UpdateHtmlText(HtmlTextInfo objHtmlText, Int32 MaximumVersionHistory) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.EditHtml.cmdSave_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

This time, I locate only one file: 84_ACABA51644A302FBB325E30E7931BAF8.attrib.resources.  I open this file, there is nothing, but a date and time.  So, I cannot do any further.

I am the only one, who edits the page and have a full privileges.

Please direct me how to solve this problem.
Thank you very much!
Dan

those files are created when you have module or page caching enabled and are using the file system - if you're getting delete errors it suggests your permissions are incorrect - please check you have modify permissions on the relevant folders.

Hello Cathal,
Thank you very much for your help!
Every time I confront this kind of problem, I open that folder and delete the file, then everything works fine.

I don't know for sure if it is a right way to do!!!???

no, it's not the correct way to do things - the account that DotNetNuke is operating under (e.g. network service/aspnet) should have the right to delete those files and will automate the deletion
