Did the proper account have full access to the location to perform file/folder modifications for the .NET 2.0 IIS account?

I was not clear I see ?
The account is still the same in all scenarios, with file/folder modification permissions.
What change is the App pool configuration (2.0/4.0 - classic/integrated).
One more thing: .Net is in Medium Trust.

This is something that I blogged about as well. You need to be certain with integrated AppPools that you have the proper account and permissions. In this case 'IIS AppPool\".
